July 31, 2026 - August 2, 2026A catechists’ weekend of renewal will be offered at the Cathedral of St. Stephen in Phoenix, AZ on July 31 - August 2, 2026 for all ECF coordinators and teachers in the eparchy.
The retreat will include:- Fellowship and time for prayer
- Conversations on strengths and challenges
- How to present Bible Study programs
- Catechist Certification Program

Fees & Expenses:- The Retreat Fee is $150.00 per attendee
- Payment must be remitted to the Chancery no later than Monday 15 June 2026
- Payment must be made by parish check payable to the Eparchy of Phoenix
- Parishes and attendees are responsible for the Retreat Fee and travel costs
- Hotel accommodations and meals are provided by the Eparchy of Phoenix
Friday, July 31:- CGS: Breakfast at horel
- 8:00 am Divine Liturgy at Cathedral
- CGS: 9:30 am - 12 pm working sessions at Cathedral
- CGS: 12 - 1:00 pm lunch
- CGS: 1 - 4:00 pm working sessions
- 5:00 pm Welcome Dinner at Cathedral
- After Dinner: Synodal Listening Session
- Breakfast at hotel
- 8:30 am Divine Liturgy at Cathedral
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm working sessions at Cathedral
- 12 - 1:00 pm Lunch
- 1-5:00 pm working sessions
- 5:00 pm Dinner
- 6:30 pm Closing Session: Going Forth as Evangelizers

- 10:00 am Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at Cathedral
Hotel Accommodations: The eparchy will reserve a block of rooms at the following hotel for Retreat attendees. Your request for a room reservation, with the registration form (Room Reservation and Meal Information), must be submitted to the Eparchy not later than Monday 15 June 2026. Those attending will be required to provide a credit card upon their arrival at the hotel for incidentals.

Rooms will be available for check-in on Thursday 30 July with check-out on Monday 3 August.
As advised above, all attendees will need to confirm their request for a room reservation not later than Monday 15 June 2026 by completing and emailing the Room Reservation and Meal Information request to the Chancery.
Local Transportaion: Retreat attendees are responsible to arrange for their own transportation to and from the Phoenix airport and the hotel. The Cathedral is within walking distance of the hotel (approximately three blocks).
