The Office of Vocations promotes and fosters vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate and Monastic life within the Eparchy.
A vocation to ordained service in the Church is a gift from God. In addition to the God-inspired signs of a ministerial vocation, evidence of above-average Christian discipleship must be found in a candidate for Holy Orders. The following are prerequisites for a man who wishes to apply for formation:
-Commitment and fidelity to the Church
-Normal piety
-Parochial Involvement
-Parochial Involvement prior to Priestly Formation
-Parochial Involvement prior to Diaconal Formation
-Support of pastor
-Canonical membership
-Commitment to chaste, moral living
-Good health
-Mature and Formable
-Good mind
-Ability to learn
-Stability
-Stability in celibate life
-Stability in marriage and family life
-Temperance
-Willingness to work hard
-Willingness to be obedient
